We’d like to extend a welcome back to our players and families and a huge welcome to our new players and parents in 2021. We are excited to have you as part of our hockey family.

IMPORTANT DATES:

• 24^th April – “Come and try” day
• 8^th May – start of season 1
• 17^th July – start of season 2
• Date TBA – start of season 3

Format: 

This year, we have a new structure – 3 x short seasons, with hockey being played on Saturday mornings, running through to early afternoon. This means, upon registration, you will need to pay your original Hockey QLD and Hockey Australia fees (once off payment for the year), and 3 x ATHA fees (one before taking the field each season).  

Divisions: 

This first term we have 4 divisions; Minkies (ages 5-9), Juniors (ages 10-14), Open Ladies (ages 16+), and Walking Hockey (ages 10+). We will introduce an under 16’s competition in term 3.

The times for these divisions are as follows:

• Minkies – 8:30am – 9:10am (skills and training), 9:15am – 9:50am (game)
• Juniors – 10:00am – 11:00am
• Walking Hockey – 10:00am – 10:45am
• Open Ladies – 11:30am – 12:30pm / 1:00pm – 2:00pm (this time slot may be subject to change in the following seasons once able to spark an under 16 comp).

*Please note – We will consider reclassification of playing divisions based on age, skill, etc.

Costs: 

The costs for each division are as follows:

• Minkies:
• Hockey QLD / Hockey Australia ONCE off yearly fee – $15.00
• ATHA fee – $10.00 PER season
• Juniors:
• Hockey QLD / Hockey Australia ONCE off yearly fee – $46.50
• ATHA fee – $20.00 PER season
• Walking Hockey:
• Hockey QLD / Hockey Australia ONCE off yearly fee – $22.00
• ATHA fee – $20.00 PER season (or there is an option to pay all 3 seasons together for $60.00).
• Open ladies:

(Junior Ladies aged 16-18):

• Hockey QLD / Hockey Australia ONCE off yearly fee – $46.50
• ATHA fee – $35.00 PER season

(Senior Ladies aged 18+):

• Hockey QLD / Hockey Australia ONCE off yearly fee – $65.00
• ATHA fee – $35.00 PER season

*Please note – If you are wishing to represent Atherton Hockey at a State Championship, there is a separate Hockey QLD / Hockey Australia section for this.  

* Rollover fees – if you have rollover fees from last year, you will need to register as normal (click the Hockey QLD, Hockey Australia and ATHA fees) and you will be in the system, and it will zero out your fee as you enter checkout.
