IMPORTANT INFO:
All substitutions MUST occur from the ½ way line and the player must be fully off the field before the substitution occurs
In the event of an injury NO coaches or spectators are allowed on the field unless called on by the umpires
There is no time out for injuries: the clock continues UNLESS otherwise determined by the Tournament Convenor and ATHA
All timing for games is controlled by the canteen and hooter unless otherwise determined by the Tournament Convenor and ATHA
There will be a 5 minute warning hooter at the commencement of all finals: players are expected to be on the field before the hooter is blown for the game commencing
All coaches players and spectators are reminded of the Code of Conduct which will be strictly enforced
Managers Coaches parents and players are reminded that all players MUST be registered and have played a minimum of 7 games to be eligible for the semi and final games: any team where a player takes the field and does not meet this requirement will disqualified
Coaches and Managers are reminded that ATHA Committee may exempt a player from the 7 game rule: if an exemption is required this must be done in writing no later than Tuesday 30 August: Managers, Coaches will be advised of the Committees decision as soon as practicable. No further correspondence will be entered into once the decision is made.
IN EVENT OF A DRAW IN ANY DIVISION THE GAME WILL CONTINUE WITH DROP-OFFS:
There will be a 5 (five) minute break
Play will continue for 6 (six) minutes
9 (nine) players return to the field
This must include a fully padded Goalie
Golden Goal Rule (sudden death) wins the game
If no result:
No break in play
Players to change ends immediately
Play will continue for 6 (six) minutes
7 (seven) players on the field
This must include a fully padded Goalie
If no result:
No break in play
Players to change ends immediately
Play will continue for 6 (six) minutes
5 (five) players on the field
This must include a fully padded Goalie
If no result at the end of this then penalty strokes will be required.
PENALTY STROKES
ALL players, managers and spectators to be completely OFF the field.
Only the 10 selected stroke players, the goalies, the umpires, the coaches and an Umpire Official to remain on the field.
Before the game each team must have 5 players already selected to take strokes
Each team takes their strokes in alternate order
At the end of the strokes, if the score is still even, strokes will continue:
Strokes may be taken by the same five players BUT they must not take the strokes in the same order of players as before
Golden Goal rule (sudden death) per set of 2 (two) strokes wins the game
Penalty strokes must be only pushed, flicked or scooped and not hit. The ball can cross the goal-line at any height.
All Penalty strokes are taken by a player from the penalty spot, 6.40 metres in front of the goal.
