Atherton Tablelands Hockey Association is super excited to announce that our ATHA Patron is none other than Mark Knowles 😲
Mark has sent us this message about playing hockey…. have a listen.

So you heard him – bring your friends, family, mates, your buddies and give hockey a go!!
Why play hockey… well why not I say!!
Hockey is competitive, but more importantly it’s fun, a great way to improve your fitness; make friends and enjoy the social aspects of team sport and being part of a community.
Discipline, being part of a team, social skills, motor skills are all skills that are practiced and developed with physical activity. Team sports encourage cooperation and respect for others. What a great foundation!
The great thing about Hockey is it’s at the same place and time each week. Games are played at Loder Park, Atherton, with regular time slots for all grades. Once you pay your fees there are no ongoing costs each week.
So if you 5 years or older we want you to come and have a go.
We are having an information/sign on day on Sunday 11th February between 10 am and 1 pm and a Fun Day Saturday 17th Feb from 10.30 am with our friends from Stingers club in Cairns coming up for the Annual City vs Country Day. Please come along and ask questions or join in.
