Hockey Queensland is seeking suitable applicants for part-time (15hrs/week) Administration Officer to work in the Atherton Tablelands Hockey Association.
This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, efficient administrator who is looking for a challenging role to make their own.
You will be based at the Atherton Tablelands Hockey Association’s club and will be responsible to the Executive to ensure key day-to-day administrative aspects of the club are being undertaken. The role requires a broad scope of skills related to sports club administration including the membership registration and competition management, financial management and club event planning.
To be successful in the role you must have, or be able to obtain:
- Have a proficient working knowledge of administrative software (preferably including sports management software)
- Experience with cash handling and basic book keeping
- Be able to work autonomously and in a small team
- Be familiar with marketing tools such as website and social media
- Be highly organised and self-motivated;
- Hold a current drivers licence and;
- Have an understanding of a sporting organisation environment
